We have seen far too many people be under-cared for and for far too long we have had to accept minimal levels of care for our loved ones. We started Horizons Homecare on the foundations of the social care failures we have experienced first hand, time and time again.

Our Story and Experience

Horizons Homecare was founded in 2023, with the ideas and visions of husband and wife duo, James and Holly Galler. Who, with their collective experience in the medical and care sectors, recognized the profound importance of homecare beyond the clinical confines of hospitals and traditional care homes. It was in 2024 when Russell Crossley joined the company to inject further unparalleled expertise in both the business side and the quality and professional side of the Homecare industry.

The founders believe that hospitals and care homes, though essential, can often be an overwhelming environment for many. The relief and comfort of returning home are unparalleled. The emotions associated with home – its familiarity, its memories, its warmth – are irreplaceable. We witnessed family members and numerous individuals struggling to readjust after receiving subpar care at home, and countless others who couldn't make their way back home due to a lack of adequate support. It was in these moments that the concept of Horizons Homecare was needed to aid those in our community.

We firmly believe that no one should feel pressured into relocating to care facilities against their will. Nor should anyone endure compromised health or diminished quality of life due to inadequate care. Every individual has the right to remain in the comfort of their own homes, maintaining their independence and continuing their journey, irrespective of age. Our mission is to empower our clients to seize every moment of their lives, ensuring they thrive in the comfort of their homes. Our commitment is unwavering, as we aim to make this aspiration a reality for all.

What began as a small, values-driven team in Blackpool has now grown into a trusted regional provider — supporting clients across the Fylde & Wyre via our Blackpool office, to supporting clients across Lancaster, Morecambe and all neighbouring towns via our Lancaster office.
